Engagement and Motivation Workshop
Sat 07 Oct 2006
Having acquired quality people, whether they are home grown or imported via search or recruitment you will have invested a considerable amount of time and money in them and their development. It is important to protect that investment by engaging and motivating those people, not only to retain them but to obtain the best possible productivity from them.
What are the best ways to achieve that?
We have acquired the services of Professor Geoff Burton, a highly successful International Lecturer; Consultant and Management Developer to present a workshop, “Building Commitment and Engagement”
The one day programme is aimed at key partner/managers and senior HR personnel in law firms.
The workshop can be run at your office, on a date to suit you, can accommodate up to 12 people and is highly inter-active, utilising live Case study, Syndicates and Tutorials.
Alternatively we intend to run public seminars to which you can send delegates at a cost likely to be £300 - £350 per head.
This is not a fluffy, theoretical exercise. We guarantee to deliver practical tools and methodologies that will work and which you can implement immediately.
The workshop can be tailored to meet any particular issues which are more relevant to you now.
The workshop focuses on:
• Definitions of Engagement.
• Characteristics of an Engaged Employee
• Hearts and Minds.
• The old Psychological Contract
• The new Psychological Contract.
• The four Employee Factors.
• Total Reward Design.
• Intrinsic Reward and Management.
• Psychological Empowerment.
• Causal Sequence and Client satisfaction.
• Emerging Career Contracts.
• Demographics and Expectations
• Managing difficult situations and limiting damage. Keeping and rebuilding commitment
