Phil is a senior consultant and the Managing Director of the company.
He qualified as a Solicitor in 1989 at a top 50 law firm. He became a Partner in 1992 and an equity partner in 1994. He has spent 15 years working in law firms and has experience at 4 firms, 3 of them in the Top 50. He practised in the North West, the Midlands and Yorkshire and led teams, multi sited business groups and an office.
Before setting up Jepson Holt with Alex in September 2004, Phil worked as a Director at an established legal search firm.
Phil completed an MBA (Distinction) at Manchester Business School in Autumn 2007.
Alex is a senior consultant and the company Chairman.
He qualified as a Solicitor in 1994 in Manchester and then joined a Top 50 law firm in the North West, becoming a partner in 1998. In 12 years in practice Alex developed a strong reputation as a fee earner and business developer. He led teams and departments.
Alex leads marketing and business development for the company.
He worked with Phil in practice, and joined him in legal search work at an established legal search firm, establishing Jepson Holt with Phil in September 2004.
Matthew is a senior consultant and a Director of the company.
He originally embarked upon training as a Solicitor but became interested in recruitment and in 1997 joined the business which pioneered executive search in the Legal market, becoming their most successful consultant outside London. As well as being one of the most experienced legal head hunters in the market Matthew has worked overseas including a stint at a major international search firm.
Before joining Jepson Holt in April 2008, Matthew was the Managing Director of another specialist legal search firm.
Joe is a consultant who joined Jepson Holt in 2007. He was a key member of our research team before moving into his current role. He graduated with a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Manchester in 2006. After graduation, Joe worked at a leading Barristers Chambers in Manchester in a clerking role before joining Jepson Holt.
Rachel is our Administration Manager and plays a key role in organising and coordinating the activities of our Consultant team. She plays a key part in liaising with Clients and Candidates.
Her responsibilities also include managing our internal IT requirements and our data and knowledge base.
She has an LLB(Hons) from the University of Manchester and joined Jepson Holt after graduating in 2007.
Dawn is our Finance Manager and deals with financial and facilities aspects of our business.
She spent her career in the financial services industry before she joined Jepson Holt in January 2005. Dawn was our first recruit after the business was launched and is very special to us.
Becky is a long standing member of our research team having been with us since November 2005. She joined shortly after graduating with a BA(Hons) in Human Communication.
