05/03/2009 - Time to Change

Right now the economic environment is very challenging for all of us.

The world has changed and we need to change with it.
In more difficult times we all need to raise our game and look at new ways of doing things.
On top of this the Legal Services Act is looming large and that will introduce a new wave of competition into the legal services market.
How can law firms meet the challenge?

With the following 3 concepts:

    1. Why the business exists. What are you there to achieve?
    2. What you want to be
    3. What you believe in and how you behave
    4. Where do you want to get to
    5. How you are going to get there

(Defining and expressing this in terms which are as simple as possible helps everyone in the business understand what they are there for and how what they do every day is contributing to the purpose of the business and its objectives. It creates the foundation of your brand and enables your clients to see something different about you. It also enables you to become different by deciding what aspects of what you do are important to you and accentuating them at the expense of other aspects which are less important.)

We have a framework document which expands on the concepts, outlines how they can be implemented and what support we can offer. If you want to find out more please contact Phil Jepson.
